"A common movement, with artwork for everyone"
When i was busy clicking and clicking on links, googling random words, and checking out images (the cause of boredom - i know you guys do this too!) I encountered this statement and my mind just started to roll and basically just wanted to understand what it really meant.
NOW.. I am really curios about the "streets". I'm curious about the fashion, music, and its action sports. Well, I just want to get into its CULTURE.

ReplyDeleteStreetwear literally means what people wear in the streets until it attracted a bigger crowd and was adopted by fashion as a rebel branch. In my opinion, streetwear is a combination of style/fashion and culture.
ReplyDeleteCulture is, doing what you love and not settling in the society's norms. Style is looking a bit rebellious, but actually, it still depends on what streetwear influencers wear. Like in any trend, someone starts it, and the majority follows.
Its really hard actually, I tried explaining it in our thesis, but its just too broad and flexible to fit in a box. So good luck on finding the right words to describe the street, its just something you believe in, and you have fun with.
